This custom-built CATERPILLAR 320D L HYDRAULIC EXCAVATOR was prominently featured in the exciting pre-title sequence as Bond pursued the assassin Patrice aboard a train in Turkey. The 320D L has a longer undercarriage than the standard 320D model and weighs over 50,000 lbs. This particular model has the cab located on the right side and additional platforms were installed on the hydraulic barrels of the boom and dipper arm which aided the stunt performance of Bond jumping into the passenger car of the train. Two were built for the film, but the second one was never used. This excavator was donated to the Foundation by Caterpillar Inc. It remains exactly as it was seen in the film.
This HONDA CRF250R MOTORCYCLE was dressed up and used as a prop police motorcycle seen in the film.
